Privacy by default, not by promise alone.
This page describes what the current MVP actually does. If the code changes, this page must change with it.
What we collect
- An anonymous device token, stored server-side only as a SHA-256 hash.
- Daily usage counts for quota enforcement.
- Operation metadata: model, token counts, latency, status, and estimated cost. Never prompt text, improved text, context, or explanations.
- Waitlist emails, only when explicitly submitted.
- Upgrade intent, with an optional email supplied by you.
What stays local
Improvement history is stored in chrome.storage.local for a configurable period, at most 100 entries and 30 days. You can clear it from the extension options. Transient tab results use session storage.
What we never do
- No third-party analytics SDK in the extension.
- No page content or prompt text in analytics events.
- No cross-site browsing history.
- No account, advertising profile, or uninstall email address.
Model processing
To produce a brief, your prompt is sent from the extension to our API and then to the configured model provider. The API does not persist it. Provider retention is governed by that provider’s terms.
