Promptential at a glance

Promptential is a Chrome extension for developers who use ChatGPT to implement coding tasks. It converts a rough request into a structured development brief with explicit context, requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, constraints, and output format.

Distinctive behavior

• Transparent line-by-line diff before applying a rewrite.
• Output budget: normally no more than 2× the original request, with no motivational filler.
• Explicit “Assumption:” lines instead of invented libraries or versions.
• Accept, reject, retry, copy, and undo controls.
• Anonymous use with five improvements per day and no prompt-content persistence.

Current scope
